I've always found a deep sense of calm and clarity in simplicity and organization. This philosophy truly deepened in my young adult years after I was inspired by Peace Pilgrim. She spent 28 years walking across the United States, spreading a message of peace with only minimal belongings: the clothes on her back, a toothbrush, comb, notebook, and pen. Her words, "This is me and all my possessions. Think of how free I am! If I want to travel I just stand up and walk away," resonated deeply with me. Inspired by her freedom, I relinquished almost all of my own belongings—and it was truly liberating.
Fast forward to today, I'm a mother raising six children. While life with a family certainly requires more material possessions, I'm constantly reminded that the most effective way to manage a busy household is simply to have less stuff. We're often led to believe we need so much, but a joyful and fulfilling life doesn't depend on endless possessions.
My focus is on helping people simplify their homes and their lives by guiding them to discern what they truly need, use, and love, and confidently let go of the rest. We'll utilize your existing storage solutions to bring order and functionality to your space. While new containers can be a fun cosmetic touch later, our first step is always about creating a functional foundation for lasting order in your home.
I'm excited to help you rediscover peace and joy in your home again! Contact me when you're ready to start your journey toward a simplified home.
